Hikari no Kiseki ~ CLANNAD 10th Anniversary Art Book ~

On April 28, 2004, the CLANNAD Visual Novel was released on PC. Since that time, there have been two anime series, a movie, as well as the visual novel released on various game console systems. This book covered the history of CLANNAD.

It came in a cardboard slipcover case. It measured 221 x 339 x 31 mm. The book itself was hardcover. Each book was numbered on the back of the book with a metal plate on the lower right hand side. There was no way of knowing the number till you take the book out of the slipcase. This particular one I received was numbered 4129.

At the front of the book was a single-sided, three panel foldout of Fuko. She was underwater with a red starfish on her head. The first section of the book included seven images from the visual novel as well as some text about the story. The Guest Illustrations were full page artwork from different artists. I do not recall seeing any of this artwork before. The Official Material was from the visual novel. It included images from the game, official artwork, and some sketches. The TV Animation covered both TV Series. Memorial Anthology included several side stories. This included Kyou, Fuko, and Ushio. In addition, there was a 16 page manga short. Cinema Animation covered the movie. On the last page of the book a number of messages was written by the staff. Except for the short stories and the manga short, the entire book was in color.

CLANNAD Visual Fan Book

This book covered the CLANNAD PC Visual Novel. It came in white box (top image) that opened similar to a novel. Inside was the book (bottom image). On the inside of the box had image of Fuko on the left and Akio on the right. Also, there were various deformed sketches of various characters in the background. The book itself had a clear dustcover on it. Similar to the original pressing of the Lapata OST CD, there were printed text on it that blended in with the book. On the back, the following was printed in English: "The place changes and goes. Like a wind, like clouds. Like the traces of the heart, no halt at the places." It was from the first verse to the English Song "Ana" that was played at various times during the game. The entire book was in color.

This was vocal image album was a follow up of the earlier Sorarado Album. This CD was made up of four songs performed by Riya. The music was taken from the CLANNAD Original Soundtrack. Pre-Clannad Book

This book covered the CLANNAD PC Visual Novel Game. As the title indicated, this book was released shortly before the game. It included a few images from the game as well as brief background info on the characters. Also included was a PC-CD-ROM. On the disc, it included Demonstration Arrange & Normal version of the opening movie. It was nearly identical to the one played in the game (minus the promo info at the end). Also included were five different wallpapers. They were from Nagisa, Kyou, Fuko, Tomoyo, and Kotomi. Each one included resolution for 800x600, 1024x768, and 1280x960. Finally, it included three mp3s. There were two different versions of the opening song, "Megu Meru" (Eufonius). The third mp3 was 7 minutes long and a compilation of the various BGM from the game.

CLANNAD TV Animation Visual Fan Book

This book covered the CLANNAD TV series. The entire book was in color. At the front of the book, it included a two-panel fold out of Kyou (right image). The scene was from episode 17. The Illustrations covered various artwork used in previous works. Each page had either one or two images. Character section had black and white line art as well color images of 30 characters. This three disc box set was the soundtrack to the CLANNAD PC visual novel game. It came in a cardbard slipcase. The discs were house in a three panel foldout. The music was composed by Magome Togoshi, Jun Maeda, Shinji Orito, and eufonius. The booklet also contained the sheet music for three of the four songs from the box set. Its interesting to note this was also the soundtrack to the 2007 CLANNAD TV Anime Series as well as the 2008 CLANNAD ~After Story~ TV Anime Series.
