Yottsu no L [Limited Edition] / Ayaka Hirahara - Love Life Luck Live

This was Ayaka Hirahara fourth album. This limited edition version was a CD Extra. It included a 8:59 movie titled "Torino." The first 5:32 minutes showed her traveling (to Torino) while the remaining of the video was her singing "Oath." It included a second booklet that was six pages in length (second and third image). It measured 100 x 100 mm. Also included was a sticker (last image). Track 4 was the theme song from the PlayStation 2 Game "Ōkami". Track 10 was the opening song from the TV Anime "Saiunkoku Monogatari".

Rurouni Kenshin -Meiji Kenkaku Romantan- The Memorial Best Album ~Brilliant Collection~

This was the first Rurouni Kenshin CD box which came out less then three months after the TV series ended. It included a booklet 38 pages in length that included images of all the Rurouni Kenshin CDs (as well as singles) released up to this point. Also included was a red CD booklet that can hold up to four CDs (second image). Each of the three CDs were picture disc and were tinted a different color. The see-through holder was also the same color as the CD tint was.

Kimagure Orange☆Road ETERNAL COLLECTION SOUND COLOR BOX

The Kimagure Orange Road CD Box came in a LD size box. It measured 315 x 315 x 17 mm. It included 9 mini CDs.

It included a 60 page booklet of the artwork from the series. There was no text on any of it except the cover All the artwork was done by Akemi Takada. Until it was reprinted years later in various art books, this was for a long time the only place where you could find a lot of the art work of the series. This item alone was the reason why this box sold for a high price.

This was the two page foldout included all the track listings and the lyrics for the songs.

Windof Change II

After further consideration, I decided to revert back to my original template. The new one had a lot of issues which I never quite figure out. Also, I finally figured out some things from the original template that I did not realize before.

When I first created this site in 1997, there were virtually no websites that had info on anime and videogame CDs. A lot has changed since then and its not too hard to track listings of most of the newer CDs today. But very rarely do you find info about the content and packaging of the CD (or other related merchandise). Of course if you only download the album, then you would not know about it.

In my experience, most Japanese products come with some very unique packaging and is often overlooked (or dismissed). My plan is to continue to list various anime and videogame merchandise I have come across over the years. If its unique, I'll post it. I won't be able to post as often as I did in the past but I hope to add more content on a regular basis.

Lets continue the "Wind of Change."
